The VETM students had the opportunity to receive a lecture from Dr. David Holt on the topic of near-infrared imaging of cancer during surgery. Here, he explained the process they use to trial this method on dogs suffering from cancer and how translational research will eventually allow them to apply this technology to human cancers.
